Lo scopo dell’impresa.
Beschaffung und Unterhalt von Räumlichkeiten zur öffentlichen Ausstellung bildender Kunst, insbesondere von Portraits und von Werken aus der Region Basel; Unterstützung von Massnahmen, die dazu dienen, im Kanton Basel-Landschaft das Interesse für bildende Kunst, speziell der Portraitkunst, zu beleben (durch periodische Ausstellungen, Künstlerlesungen, Videoshows etc.); Unterstützung von Massnahmen zur Vergrösserung der Sammlung (im Sinne eines Museums für Portraits und regionale Kunst), sei es durch weitere private Zuwendungen, durch Zukauf oder in Verbindung mit dem basellandschaftlichen Kunstkredit; Vergabe des BEWE-Preises zur Förderung der bildenden Kunst.
