Üblicherweise erfolgt die Unterstützung durch Spenden an gemeinnützige Organisationen, welche solche Aufgaben übernehmen. Es können jedoch auch einzelne Projekte berücksichtigt werden. Ein weiteres, besonderes Anliegen der Spenderin ist, die Lebensbedingungen und die Existenzgrundlagen in Berggebieten zu verbessern. Dabei können Projekte für einzelne Familien aber auch der Erhalt oder die Erneuerung von Infrastrukturen für grössere Gemeinschaften unterstützt werden. Vermögenserträge und Kapital der Stiftung sind ausschliesslich dem vorstehend genannten Zweck gewidmet. Erwerbszwecke sind ausgeschlossen.
