Der Verein bezweckt Unterhaltung von hilfsbedürftigen Menschen in pflegenden Institutionen (wie Alters- oder Pflegeheime, Werk- oder Betreuungsheime für Behinderte) oder im privaten Umfeld (im Folgenden "Kunden") durch Vermittlung von hierfür speziell geeigneten und ausgebildeten selbständig erwerbenden Partnerclowns. GeroClowns setzt den Humor bewusst als Mittel für die Erhöhung der Lebensqualität der Heimbewohner ein.
